Beachwood reader says Obama not being blamed enough for all of the country’s problems: Sun News Letter to the Editor

With regards to the Aug. 11 Sun News letter, Obama being blamed for all debt created before he took office, I believe ironically that he is not being blamed enough.

For example Joyce Burch refers to an Aug. 1 article in the Plain Dealer. That writer, Ezra Klein, is a far left columnist and frequent guest on far left MSNBC.

When they refer to Total Cost Of New Policies, they show the subsequent graph showing things like the Iraq and Afghanistan wars only on former President Bushs ledger and no expenses for Obama on his side of graph. I understand why because they were not new policies, even though Obama expanded Afghanistan tremendously.

Even the total is misleading as it shows President Bush for eight years and compares it to President Obama for only his 2 years in office and then tries to show projections until 2017. In other words, even though Obama will certainly spend more than Bush, he does not get credit for any spending he does because he did not start the initial spending.

President Obama is certainly a pleasant individual but way over his head in this job. Every time he speaks and we all know it is way too often-he blames the previous Administration. When will he ever finally take some responsibility for his actions? Two-and-a-half years now and he is still blaming someone else.
