Undergraduate research symposium set for July 28
The 2011 Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium, which includes 90 posters from undergraduate researchers, will be held Thursday, July 28 at the Erickson Alumni Center.
Brief remarks, including some from WVU Provost Michele Wheatly, will start at 11 a.m., with winners in each category announced during the Awards Ceremony at 2:30 p.m. In between, visitors are encouraged to look at the posters and speak with their authors.
Posters are from students involved in: WVNano SURE/IRES/REU, Biology REU, Honors SURE, and the Center for Neuroscience SURI and will be displayed in four categories: Biological Health Sciences, Agricultural Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences Engineering, and Nanosciences.
Several Davis College faculty are serving as SURE mentors this summer:
